We Belong

Andrew Onono , 2021 , Kampala

“The true measure of a nation’s standing is how well it attends to its children- their health and safety, the material security, their education and socialization, their sense of being loved and included in the families and societies in which they are born” (UNICEF, 2007)

“WE Belong”, elaborates how well-being of children stands with socialization and feeling of being loved and cared for, hence creating a sense of belonging that encompasses a child’s whole life and recognizes that all childhood experiences contribute to their over-all well-being by enhancing their feelings of happiness and satisfaction.
