Omugabo

OMUGABO is a mixed media representation of hands holding tight a portion of water. This sculpture is named after a luganda word OMUGABO meaning potion. It’s derived from a sense of protection of belonging and in relation to the covid season I was in position to learn and understand more the value of the little I own to gain value out of it. That is effective utility of resources as times tend to change, positive reaction to negative situation which has been evident in my society as many have been in position to utilize the would-be challenging pandemic season into profiting values for example from a personal point, I have collected many ideas from the situation that have inspired my works.
