A city without people isn’t a city, it becomes a Ghost town. Lira city is one of the newly created cities located in Northern Uganda. The street photo series are in exploration of the daily life of the people as this offers a glimpse of life in this newly created city and in the long run act as a base for a vivid general picture of how development is experienced by the people within the city centre of Lira. As cities change over time that is certain areas look different after a couple of days. This is to further keep track of the
evolvement of different people within particular spaces with reference to a daily routine. This in my opinion justifies the resilience of the people alongside their immediate environment.
As a photographer, I am drawn to discovering the unknown places that is with an aim of further understanding I and my surroundings.
