Inspired by the late Elly wamala’s song “Boda Boda”. Boda Boda is a Luganda word referring to a motor cycle, it’s considered as the most flexible means of transport. This is because it links people from door to door and to remote places where vehicles cannot reach thus simplifying movements in Uganda. Not forgetting it being an employment opportunity, so restricting Boda Boda owners from operation does not only affect the owners but the citizens at large. Focusing on the time period when the government restricted the Boda Boda movements, it resulted to a lot of hardships for example, cyclists lost their jobs, workers found it hard to reach their work places, police brutality against cyclist among others.
The above action affected many Ugandan citizen’s incomes contributed to the high cost of living
