Statement
My work is dominated by children and women because they make up the majority of my surrounding., And I find
them interesting. My preferred media are acrylic paint and watercolor because they are easy to control, and the product is amazing for me. I was drawn to newspapers because of the aesthetic about them but also that they are timeless, and the letter forms on them put across a message to the viewer. Through my collage and painting
techniques, I intend to capture and highlight moments of the pandemic of COVID-19, a season that changed history.
